GUELLALA
is the most important place for pottery in Djerba. It
used to be a Berberian village where the habitants are
still speaking a local language ( the “Chelha” ). It’s
also the place where Mini-Souk installed its work shops.
In
fact the Djerbian pottery is different than the Nabeul
pottery because of its components based upon sea water
and argyle but also because it’s natural, not painted,
or anything else.
We are speaking about real ancient art and the Mini-Souk
does know how to keep it and how to provide this
cultural treasure to propose original pieces of Djerba
like glasses, plates of several sizes, dishes pieces,
clothes, and so on ...
