Oliver wood is a rare and noble essence who is growing all around the Mediterranean sea area. In order to obtain the best quality of wood, the artisans of Mini-Souk are working with selected wood coming from Sahel area situated in the middle of Tunisia ( Sousse Pearl of Sahel).

The age of the selected trees is going over 60 years old because of the quality of their wood. They are cut after the season of Olive, the bad parts are eliminated and the wood is stocked to be used for the manufacturing of different objects.


The work of the wood is an ancestral art inherited from father to son during centuries. In the respect of the tradition, the artisans of Mini-Souk propose you different instrument for kitchen, plates, decoration, statues, darboukas, chess, dames, dominos ... Each objects are hand made following ancestral rules by the artisnas of Mini-Souk.
