in 1980, the Mini-Souk is born in Djerba, area of welcomes, island of
melting pot and ancient traditions. The artisans working in the
Mini-Souk workshops are professionals linked with the “savoir-faire”
inherited from the ancients and the love of suitable work. Whatever
might be the product, leather, wood, pottery, venire, gold or silver
jewels and of course, carpets, the wish of Mini-Souk is the full
satisfaction of the clients providing them quality of the local or
Tunisian traditions. Two shops have been inaugurated : the main one in
Houmt Souk and the second one in Midoun. In an other hand, exclusive
Mini-Souk shops are opened inside many hotels areas : in Golf Beach, Dar
Djerba, Jerba Beach, Ksar Jerba. The Mini-Souk : this name is coming from the word “market” (“souk” in Arabic) where you could buy whatever you need for daily life, like clothes, jewels, gifts, and decorating objects.  The
Mini-Souk presents three (3) differents show-rooms, two settled in Houmt
Souk at 20 km from the hotels area and one (1) in Midoun witch is the
second town of the island of Djerba at 9 km from the hotels area.The Mini-Souk presents also seven working shops where nearly a hundred of real artisans and technicians are working with their imagination, their creativity and their “savoir-faire” in order to provide the best quality to everyone.  Mini-Souk
is not limited to his own show-rooms, but is also present in most of the
hotels of the island where you will find more products of quality and
gifts that you could ever imagine.The sales and marketing department of Mini-Souk knows how important it is to be present in the national and international main manifestations, and to propose new products. During your journey in Djerba island, you will hopefully visit one of the Mini-Souk show-room that might be proposed by you travel agency or directly by the Mini-Souk it-self, who will provide you transfer for you, your group or your family.   During
this visit, you will discover the artisans working for Mini-Souk and
will be inviting for a carpet show, drinking a delicious mint tea ...You can command directly during your journey or by telephone, fax or e-mail when back home.
