Sea desert, the island of Djerba is a perfect melting pot between farniente and evasion for everyone wishing to forget the winter smog.   Linked to the continent by an ancient Roman road, this little island of 514 km² (25 km x 25 km) is settled like an unexpected end in the south at 500 km from Tunis.   It’s a closed world, nearly abstract because so plane, with its white roof menzels, its palms trees, its old Oliver trees, its tiny roads bordered with Barbarian fugues, its sandy dunes.   Forgetting this particular end of the world ambience, the island is providing a wonderful weather during each seasons, particularly in winter, more sunny and sweet than anywhere.
